Testimonials
About Me
Vanessa Klugman, MD, ACC
As a physician, and mother of three, I balanced the demands of a career and family for many years until the stress became overwhelming. I turned to poor coping mechanisms to escape the demands that I placed on myself. In recovery, I have learned effective ways to face negative emotions: set boundaries that protect my sobriety; face limiting beliefs and heal old wounds.
I am a certified recovery coach through Crossroads recovery and am accredited through the International Coaching Federation. I hold a BA from the University of Chicago and MD from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center and my fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Chicago. I practiced endocrinology for 22 years. I have been in recovery since June 2015.
My passion is to guide others battling to find a healthy balance in their lives, to disconnect from their inner critic and reconnect with their inner wisdom.
